Eneris Brings Green Energy to Siemiatycze

Eneris has opened a 10 MW photovoltaic farm in Siemiatycze, marking the first stage of the company’s green investments in the city. This is only the beginning — construction of a modern energy storage facility is already planned for as early as next year.

The photovoltaic farm in Siemiatycze is another step in developing a key area of Eneris Group’s operations: the production of green energy from renewable sources. It is an important element of the circular economy model, under which Eneris consistently works to integrate recycling with energy transformation.

With a connection capacity of 10 MW and panels spanning 10 hectares, the farm will generate and feed over 10,000 MWh of clean electricity into the grid each year – enough to power around 4,000 households, covering more than 80% of Siemiatycze’s energy needs. The main contractor for part of the installation was Solartech.

“Energy transition regulations are evolving rapidly, and we believe that soon they will allow for direct energy supply to municipal companies, industry, and residents. Our goal is to deliver clean, local energy — and Siemiatycze is becoming a symbol of that vision,” said Sylwia Całus, President of the Management Board of Eneris Siemiatycze.

This investment lays the groundwork for a future in which, as renewable energy laws evolve, local institutions, industries, and residents will be able to directly benefit from energy produced within their own community. The long-term plan, developed in partnership with the city, aims to steadily “green” the region’s energy mix.

“Such installations bring us closer to a true green transformation and create new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and residents. The energy being produced here today offers the prospect of cleaner air, new jobs, and additional revenue for the municipal budget. It’s how we connect the future with real, tangible benefits here and now,” emphasized Piotr Siniakowicz, Mayor of Siemiatycze.

The photovoltaic power plant in Siemiatycze is part of a broader Eneris investment plan that includes the development of energy storage facilities and additional renewable energy sources. Through these initiatives, the Group continues to expand its circular economy model — both in the area of resource recovery, by increasing recycling rates, and in the area of energy transformation.
