From Waste to Wealth: Artur Dela’s Insights at ISWA 2024 (Cape Town)

Artur Dela, Founder and CEO of Eneris, participated in a conference in Cape Town organized by The Institute of Waste Management, following an invitation from the International Finance Corporation. The event was attended by leaders of the circular economy from Poland, France, Africa, Brazil, and India. The 2024 ISWA World Congress, organized by the South African Waste Management Institute, is recognized as the leading global event in the field of solid waste management, bringing together professionals, government officials, industry leaders, policymakers and academics to discuss and advance sustainable waste management practices.

Artur Dela emphasized after the conference: “It was an inspiring experience. I was able to share my observations and exchange views on the most innovative approaches to developing global strategies for sustainable development. Our mission, captured in the slogan ‘Clean land, air and water,’ is to implement a circular economy in Poland. We’re building a distributed, local circular model and developing a comprehensive value chain. This approach allows us to transform waste into resources, contributing to a greener and more sustainable energy mix in Poland. We continuously engage with diverse stakeholders to implement circular solutions and further contribute to sustainable development. We look forward to further cooperation to achieve these ambitions.”
