Eneris Surowce S.A. Takes Over Shares in Altvater Piła
Eneris Surowce is taking over the shares in Altvater Piła owned by the Municipality of Piła. Thanks to this transaction, Eneris will become the sole owner of the company. The Piła City Council agreed to sell its shares in Altvater Piła Sp. z o.o. to Eneris Surowce S.A. As a result of this decision, Eneris Surowce S.A. will become the exclusive owner of the Piła-based company.
“Acquiring the full share package in Altvater aligns with Eneris’ policy related to investments in the recycling sector. It is an important step in cooperation with local governments within the development of the Smart City concept, the first element of which is to increase the recovery of raw materials from waste recycling, and consequently, the need to implement new, significant investment outlays. It is also a benefit for the city, allowing for the acquisition of additional funds for a range of activities improving the comfort of life for Piła residents,” said Paweł Augustyn, President of the Management Board of Eneris Surowce S.A.
“Eneris’ full takeover is an opportunity for the development of Altvater Piła, which employs over 250 people. Unified ownership oversight means faster decision-making and investments in innovative solutions that the residents of Piła will soon feel,” emphasized Tomasz Bielański, General Director of Altvater Piła.
Altvater Piła Sp. z o.o. is the largest municipal waste collector in northern Greater Poland, and one of the larger employers in Piła.
